Product Description
Door sheathing is required when the integrity of the existing door is poor. The sheath is a minimum16 gauge galvanised steel sheet, which is bolted and screwed to the external face of the door. It is possible to include an anti-jemmy lip to cover the door frame and limit the ability of potential intruders to use tools to force the door open. Each sheath is individually prepared in our Auckland factory, and can accommodate any door width and existing hardware, also taking into account the door handles, bolts and other items that may be already fitted to the door. The securing bolts are round headed coach bolts and bolt through fixed, preventing the sheath from being stripped off from the outside.
