Durabar is a high penetration resistant fixed steel grille system. Durabar is designed around a 25mm steel square tube frame which is predrilled to accommodate solid steel bars at 125mm centres. The bars are available in diameter from 12mm to 20mm , depending on the security requirements of each individual client. The bars are welded into their frames and cross braces, preventing the 
bars from being bent and pulled from the square tube frame. The Durabar system is available in a wide variety of powder coated finishes and can be in either a vertical or horizontal bar configuration. The grilles can be face or reveal mounted and are manufactured in the Auckland factory to the requirements of each client. All fixings to the window frames are concealed with cover caps as an anti tamper measure.

Why welded bars?
We at Xpanda regard the welding of our system in the same way as motor car airbags, rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Unwelded bars can easily be bent and pulled out of their frames.
