Anti Ram Beams
The ram beam is a steel post fixed to the building, generally across the face of the vulnerable openings. The ram beam is postioned at a height to prevent ram raid access to the openings being protected.
The beams may be hinged, or slide across the face of the opening to allow access. The correct beam locking must be with no visable shackle if padlocked, or bolt through to the interior of the building if the structure is suitable.
The removable beam option may be exercised, but weight consideration for the manipulation and storage must be made.
