The RDF security fitting is designed to prevent unauthorised opening of roller doors. The RDF is manufactured from a 5mm laser cut plate steel and hot dipped galvanized for corrosion resistance. The design is in the form of a U bracket with side skirts, with a slot for an eyebolt to the base of the unit. .The RDF security housing is attached to the roller door, either internally or externally with 12mm coach bolts and a anti pull through shielding plate. The steel eyebolt is inserted into a predrilled hole in the floor and secured with a suitable chemical filler . The RDF housing settles over the eyebolt when the roller door is shut, this is secured by padlock to the eyebolt. The side and top skirts prevent the padlock and eyebolt from being accessed thus making the RDF extremely resistant and difficult to attack. A removable eye bolt option is available for unrestricted access to the door opening.
